Density of Fluids

Stage 4,5

The change of pressure in different liquids depends on the density of the liquid. The density of a liquid is the ratio of its mass to its volume. If an object is denser than its liquid, it sinks. If an object is less dense than its liquid, it floats. If the density of an object is equal to the density of its liquid, it will neither sink nor float.
